Jail Release
If you, or someone who you love has been arrested then you’ll probably have a hundred different things running through your head. Fortunately, there are a couple of things that you can do to ensure their prompt release, and the first thing that you need to do is get in touch with our dedicated team.
Your Bond
You can post a cash bond, or you can obtain the bond from a reputable bonding company. Lastly, you could have your attorney post a surety bond, but before you go ahead and make your decision you need to understand the nature of your arrest as well as understanding the pros and cons of posting a bond based on the facts and circumstances.
The Arrest Reviewal
After an arrest has taken place, the nature of the charge will be set by a magistrate judge. They will then decide how much bail is going to be set at, and when making this decision, they will look into the background of the individual and they will also take into account their criminal record (if they have one). They will also look into whether or not the individual is going to be a flight risk, and how severe the charges are. At the end of the day, judges don’t want to release criminals who are going to pose as a danger to the local community, so all of these factors are taken into account when the bond is set.
Writ Bonds
In Collin and Dallas counties, any arrests that are made after hours or over the weekend, you may be able to get released through a Writ Bond. This is a bypass and if you qualify, you won’t need to see a judge before you are released. You may need to see a judge at a later date to set your bond hearing and the conditions of your bond payment, but we have a lot of experience when it comes to writ bonds and we are always here to help and support you with any questions that you might have.
Cash Bonds
You can post a cash bond yourself if you have the funds and you don’t need anyone else to do it for you. The one benefit of doing this is that you can get all of your money back once you have had your case cleared. This can be a long process for some people, not to mention that it can also be very confusing as well. If getting a fast release is your number one priority, then this isn’t the best option for you.
Professional Bail Bonds
Most individuals use the services of a bail bond company. If you were to go down this avenue then a reliable bail bond company would post the bail for you and this would help you to secure your own release. You would have to come up with a percentage of the total cost up front and usually this is 10%. If you don’t go to a reputable company then you may have to pay more for this charge. Of course, the amount you pay will also depend on the severity of the charge as well.

Attorney Surety Bond
If you were to use this option then you would agree to hire your attorney to be your legal counsel for the case. The amount would be paid as a down payment for the services that are required and this can save you a huge amount of money. The main reason for this is because you wouldn’t have to pay twice the amount for the bondsman and again to the attorney when you seek council.
